The social media platforms are full of AI-generated content. AI companies state that programming is solved and there will be no need for programmers in the future... yet they still hire programmers for millions of dollars a year. Some people say that AI will take all our jobs and human work will become obsolete. But what is the truth? Opinions about AI and our future as programmers (or even as humans) contradict each other on a huuuuge scale. AI tech company founders say that AI will replace any human workforce very soon. Meanwhile, course sellers suggest that you should learn even more because deep, fundamental knowledge is something that AI can't replace. The problem? Both parties (the AI founders and the course sellers) are interested in bending the truth in a way that favors them. This is one of the main reasons we don't know what's going to happen. At the same time, you can see the enormous amounts of money spent on AI and the really tiny growth of productivity rate that's just not worth the money spent on AI. I think AI can help us do our jobs more efficiently and it's also good at explaining things and so AI can be very helpful - but one should use it to hand over their repetitive tasks only instead of letting it do everything instead of them. But honestly, nobody cares about what I think. I'm nobody. Just a random dude on YT. So what do I do? I will try and use AI to try to become a better programmer and I'll use AI and my skills to create income generating online businesses. Come along with me and see whether I can succeed or I can't because whichever happens, you'll be able to see the unfiltered truth and learn from it - and that, my friend, is something that's REALLY valuable nowadays, when the socials and the media is full of bullsh*t.
