Nature of Strikes in South Africa

(www.abndigital.com) The 23rd Annual Labour Law Conference, facilitated by LexisNexis South Africa, will be held from August 11 to 13 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The central theme of this year's conference will be an examination of violent strike action, with the aim of assisting South African parties to understand the limits of the right to strike, mutual gain negotiation and how to develop strategies to avoid violent and unnecessary strikes.
