Jung Institute of Chicago’s Jungian Psychotherapy Program and Jungian Studies Program at the time of the interview. Their lively conversation explores individuation during moments of cultural crisis. She trained at the C. G. Jung Institute of Chicago and graduated in September 2019. She is particularly interested in how individuals and groups create meaning in their lives through the stories they tell. ABOUT ANDREA GASPAR GONZALEZ Andrea Gaspar Gonzalez, PsyD, is a clinical psychologist practicing in the Chicago area, with a focus on trauma and sexual abuse. She completed the Jungian Psychotherapy Program from 2018 to 2020 and the Jungian Studies Program from 2014 to 2016 at the C. G. Jung Institute of Chicago. Her research examines the collective psyche, the application of Jung’s theories to the contemporary cultural climate and the reexamination of archetypes, particularly the feminine, from a fourth-wave feminist perspective.
