Chi-Square Test - Statistical Hypothesis Testing

The chi-square test of independence is used when we have two categorical variables and want to see if the variables are independent. In this example we will write the null and alternative. Next we will calculate all the observed, expected and cell chi-square values to find the Pearson chi-square test statistic. After this we will find the p-value and use this to reject or fail to reject the null.
