Running Away on Rent

The plaintiff rented out the second floor of his family home to the defendant, but when he and his family moved in, the plaintiff suddenly had a mouse problem. The plaintiff believes the defendant brought the pests with him and also stopped paying rent. The plaintiff is suing to get his money back. The defendant says he’d lived in that apartment for 44 years and never had any issues until the plaintiff turned evil. He was forced to move out, and he doesn’t think he owes anything.
