S'KYE Make the Whole Room Move | 80's Funk Boogie

S’KYE exists in a sharp, urban, and irresistibly funky boogie/R&B universe inspired by the classic New York sound of SKYY from the 1981, 1982, and 1983 era. Its musical identity is built around powerful female lead vocals, tight group harmonies, deep electric basslines, dry drum grooves, crisp handclaps, clean funk guitars, warm Rhodes keyboards, bright analog synthesizers, and unforgettable hooks made for the dance floor. Blending boogie, funk, post-disco, R&B, electro-soul, and early-1980s club energy, S’KYE captures the groove, attitude, and vocal chemistry of a golden era while creating a modern, original, and timeless sound. Its universe explores love, celebration, confidence, attraction, nightlife, freedom, heartbreak, and the joy of moving together through music made for city nights, glowing dance floors, stylish parties, and unforgettable late-night moments. It is not simply a return to classic boogie-funk. It is New York groove, harmony, and dance-floor energy reinvented for a new generation. Electric basslines. Bright harmonies.
