🙏 *I THOUGHT GOD WAS HOLDING ME BACK... HE WAS KEEPING ME FROM WHAT WOULD BREAK ME* | Resha Unique | Powerful Southern Gospel Have you ever cried over something God didn't allow to happen? Sometimes we fight to hold on to things that are no longer good for us. Sometimes we mistake disappointment for rejection. But looking back, we may recognize moments of mercy that we couldn't understand while we were living through them. *“I thought You were holding me back, but You were holding me close.”* And the unforgettable declaration: *“WHAT I CALLED REJECTION WAS YOUR PROTECTION!”* This song is for anyone who: ❤️ Has experienced an unexpected closed door. 🙏 Is struggling to understand why something didn't work out. ❤️ Has had to release a relationship, opportunity, or dream. 🙏 Is learning to trust God's wisdom through disappointment. ❤️ Can now look back and recognize unexpected blessings in a difficult season. *📖 SCRIPTURE INSPIRATION* Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart rather than relying only on your own understanding. Psalm 121:7–8 — The Lord watches over His people. Romans 8:28 — God works in all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Genesis 50:20 — What others intended for harm, God used for good. *🙏 A REMINDER FOR YOUR HEART* Not every closed door means you've failed. Not every delay means you've been forgotten. And not every disappointment means your story is over. We may not know why every painful thing happens, but we can continue trusting God's love and wisdom. Sometimes the blessing becomes clearer when we look back. *💬 LET'S ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER* Have you ever been disappointed about something that didn't work out, only to feel grateful later?
