I don't understand this Racing Culture | Petit Le Mans 2026

Welcome to the Yellow Flag Petit Le Mans of 2026. But let's be honest, endurance racing is unreal in the states. It's cheap, fun, and ridiculously easy to watch. But when companies spend over $10M a year to race a single season, it makes me wonder why do the companies do it? Racing has become a place where brands go in and out all the time and since we're at the final race of the Season, I accepted an invitation from Cadillac to figure out just why they do any of this. Why do people come out to watch these silly races for 10 hours, and through all of that figure out if there's a hidden reason as to why I love racing myself. This race had to be one of my favorite to watch even with the constant yellow flags, and to be a part of Cadillac history this year was properly special. I'm still a bit lost on if this means I should race more or less, but you'll have to let me know below.
