AION 2: 400K Players Doesn’t Mean It’s Good

Is AION 2 worth playing after its huge global launch? Nearly 400,000 simultaneous Steam players and Mixed English reviews tell different stories. We look at AION 2 combat, friends, progression and monetization to ask what actually makes an MMO worth your time. A busy multiplayer launch can genuinely improve the social experience. But launch popularity cannot tell you whether you will enjoy an ordinary session after the excitement fades. This is a footage-led opinion and decision framework, not a claim of firsthand endgame testing. Launch snapshot: SteamDB peak 397,905 on October 5, 2026. Steam English reviews on October 6: Mixed, 64% positive from 6,041 reviews. These are different measures and review samples; figures may change. Earlier regional and global playtest footage is labelled in the video and does not establish current global prices or benefits. What keeps you in an MMO: combat, friends or progression?
