What If Hondo Ohnaka Joined the Republic During the Clone Wars?

Hondo was never exactly loyal to anyone except himself, which is what makes this one so interesting. What happens if he actually commits to the Republic during the Clone Wars instead of playing every side whenever it suits him? This version looks at where Hondo might fit, how the Jedi and clones would deal with him, and whether he could ever really stop being a pirate. Do you think Hondo would make the Republic better, or just cause even more problems? Subscribe to The Umbara Project for more alternate Clone Wars stories.
