The Sound of the Turkic Languages (37 languages and dialects)

The Turkic languages are a family of languages that possibly originated in what's now Mongolia. Today, over 200 million people speak a Turkic language (with about half of them being Turkish speakers). You can find them from the desolate tundra of the Taimyr Peninsula in the Russian Arctic to the balmy shores of the Black Sea; from the steppes and deserts of China and Mongolia all the way to the Balkans. I find it fascinating that all of these languages are still so close to each other despite being so far. For Turkic language speakers watching, which language do you understand the most?
