sketchbook 19 tour (01/02/2026 - 02/07/2026)

at the time 17 y.o. me's sketchbook when i said i was going through stuff, i was like a month off from my first ever #breakup LMAO. i think i briefly mentioned that art was a coping mechanism, and i think that's part of the reason ive been drawing like theres no tomorrow. other contributing factor is most likely my ap 2d portfolio that i was making at the time! maybe i should make a video on my art portfolios.. i think they're cool. on one hand, i hate them; on the other hand, they scored really high. so who's to say.. i did get into calarts class of 30 afterall LMAO. no idea how that happened art wise i think this sketchbook is the most messy and slop from the 19 that existed at the time. and i think that's genuinely why i had so much fun with it. i doubt anyone reads descriptions but i swear to god if you make fucking slop it will fulfill you. make that crack fic on ao3, make that low quality meme with comic sans, make that collage of a past friend or lover or something. just make shit. it genuinely will make you feel better at some point. i really came to using this -- i started to realize the framework of what i thought a sketchbook was and had to be was breaking FAST. it wasn't perfect, it was honestly slop, i wrote jorking for like five pages??? great shit. tldr make slop so you can look back at yourself and tung tung salaugh your ass off at it
