Beech Hedge trimming

This is a Beech hedge, with one years growth, which I trimmed on a very damp and cold morning in December. First of all I ran the strimmer / line trimmer along the bottom of the hedge, to make raking up the clippings easier, as the grass was long. I trimmed the sides first and then cut the top, I mostly used the trimming with the Stihl hla66 battery pole trimmer, but because in a few places, I needed to cut in harder to level the top, I used my Stihl hsa100 battery trimmer, both machines I used AP200 batteries. From start to finish it took me 4 hours and I filled 4 large bags of waste. Beech trims and prunes well in late autumn and winter.
