Act 2 Just Traumatized Me | Claire Obscur: Expedition 33

Expedition 33 Act 2 Changed EVERYTHING. Today I show my reaction and overall thoughts and predictions during and after ACT 2. Act 2 of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was actually PEAK. The lore, the reveals, the symbolism, the theories I crafted, the character development… I genuinely thought I had this game figured out to a degree. But this game is seriously an onion with constant layers and depth, and nuance. So much of what I thought I knew got flipped on its head, and every new revelation just created more questions. The deeper I get into the story, the more I realize how much this game has been telling us right in front of our faces. And Verso, man. He’s easily my favorite character. Seeing how much he suffers and understanding more of what he’s been carrying made me empathize with him on a completely different level. Maelle's true revelation too was amazingly done, and sad. This is all such a bittersweet story. Their stories hit HARD. The character writing in this game is unreal as well. Will we put Clea and Alicia/Maelle to rest to live a normal world?
