Kudiya Ghat Sunset Experience Exploring the Sacred Riverbank History of Lucknow

Kudiya Ghat of Gomati River in Lucknow, is one of the ancient and sacred places in Lucknow city. It is named after Rishi Kaundilya, who had established his Ashram in Lucknow near the river bank in early times. This beautiful Ghat was rebuilt in 1990. You can also view here an old Shiv Temple built in the year 1889. A number of people enjoy swimming here and particularly in Kartik Purnima millions of devotees come here and take a holy dip in river Gomati.
