Solo Trip to Statue of Unity (Part 2) | Sardar Sarovar Dam & Light Show | Vlog 06** 🌊✨ Welcome to Part 2 of my solo travel adventure to the world's tallest monument—the Statue of Unity in Gujarat [00:00:00]! In this concluding episode, we dive deep into the base level of the massive structure [00:01:43] to appreciate its monumental detailing up close—the massive feet and sandals dwarf visitors like ants [00:04:33]! After exploring the internal museum and theater [00:01:08], I head over to a local roadside dhaba for an authentic, unlimited Gujarati Thali [00:06:41, 00:07:22]. Following a relaxing afternoon nap on a traditional North Indian cot [00:07:46, 00:08:02], I set out to explore the massive surroundings. We walk along the covered pathways to view the gigantic Sardar Sarovar Dam [00:08:25, 00:10:29], catch a glimpse of the Jungle Safari entrance [00:09:32], witness the unique Maze Garden [00:11:27], and stroll through the 17-acre medicinal plant haven known as Arogya Van [00:12:18, 00:15:18]. We also visit the Ekta Mall shopping complex to look through traditional handicrafts and handlooms from different Indian states [00:16:34, 00:18:23]. Finally, as evening falls, we head back to the main complex for the projection mapping and laser light show against the backdrop of the illuminated statue [00:20:53, 00:22:12].
