PekoMari is one of the oldest pairings in hololive. Vivi wanted to know
how it was actually built, so she asked.
Re-upload (corrected): the line at 0:54 is "we're probably a bad match", and Marine and Pekora are genmates, not just "debut classmates". The picture is also no longer squeezed sideways.
Marine's answer is blunter than expected. Being genmates (they debuted in the same generation),
she says, is the whole reason it survived. If they had not been third
generation together, the two of them would have broken long ago — and
she has said this in an official video too.
Then she says the part that stops the conversation: what frightens her
about herself is that she does not notice when she is hurting people.
Vivi, five years her junior, spends the rest of it telling her senpai
that she is wrong.
Translator's notes cover the names and jokes that don't survive a
literal translation. The Japanese subtitles start from a speech-to-text
transcript, so a misheard line can slip through. Spot one? Leave a
comment with the timestamp and I'll correct it.
