Ween - Captain Fantasy - 1991

In September 1991, Ween opened for The Mentors at The Space at Chase in New York City. The majority of the crowd were baffled by Ween, and the boys took that dark energy and threw it right back. One of the most amazing and uncomfortable shows from Gene and Dean. I sat on the edge of the stage and filmed a little more than a half hour before my battery died. I haven't shared any of this show before - but with Aaron's announcement that Ween is no more, I thought that this would be a good time to remember them the way many of us first saw them.
