PLAY - Exploring Frying Pan Creek campground in the Chichester State Forest - Hunter Valley Camping!

In this episode we show you the beautiful Frying Pan Creek campground. Located around half an hour out of Dungog, this is a free camping destination located in the Chichester State Forest. It is one of our favourite spots, with the river running through its perfect to cool off in summer and just as nice around a camp fire in winter. This is a great place to explore just outside of Newcastle, located in the Hunter Valley of NSW You have walking trails and a number of forest drives to explore while staying out here, very popular with motor bike riders it is the perfect base for a weekend away. Simply head out towards Dungog, out towards Chichester Dam (which is a great morning tea spot) then you head into the forest. There are a number of other camp ground you may wish to explore also.
