IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING… WE’RE CONNECTING THE VAN TO MAINS POWER AND WE DIDN’T DIE!! This week on Vanzilla, we tackle another major part of our 2014 Mercedes Sprinter camper conversion — installing the external 230V shore power hookup and wiring it into the van! Because as always I forgot to do that adhd brain for you anyway After all the insulation, panelling, solar, batteries and electrical work, we’re getting one step closer to having a fully functional campervan. In this episode we: Install the external mains hookup Wire up the shore power connection Show the installation process Work through the wiring Add another major piece to our off-grid/flexible power setup And, as always, things don’t necessarily go completely to plan!
