Pools2 - Straight onto the Grass? - DrainSim - Experiment

"Pools2" or "Pools 2" is a DrainSim map with 3 separate pools. The logical choice here is to drain the water from one pool into the other and ditch it at the end in the main drain. You can also 'cheese' it by putting two pumps against each other. But would it be possible to just deposit the water on the grass surrounding these pools? Would that save time? What side effects would it give?
