The Gaushala had been facing a serious shortage of dry fodder due to poor rainfall and drought-like conditions in the surrounding area. According to the former Sarpanch and Gaushala representatives interviewed in the report, the shelter has approximately 500 cattle, including cows and bulls, with around 460 animals previously recorded. The Gaushala committee approached Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj at Dhanana Dham, Sonipat, Haryana, to request assistance for the cattle. The committee requested several important facilities, including dry fodder, a large cattle shed, a pickup vehicle for collecting fodder and a water pipeline to bring water from a distant canal or borewell source. Following the request, 700 quintals of dry fodder were delivered to Shri Shiv Gaushala. The report shows villagers welcoming the convoy with flower garlands, music and flower showers. A Gaushala representative stated that 13 vehicles carrying the fodder had arrived. Along with the delivered fodder, three additional facilities were approved: A 100 × 100 ft tin shed for cattle shelter. A pickup vehicle to help the Gaushala collect fodder and other materials. A 16,000 ft, 6-inch water pipeline to improve water supply to the Gaushala. According to the volunteers in the report, the tin shed will be constructed when the Gaushala's turn comes, while the pickup vehicle and water pipeline will also be supplied according to the implementation schedule. The Gaushala representatives explained that they had previously depended on water tankers and sometimes had to arrange water from distant locations, creating substantial recurring expenses. Local villagers and former Sarpanch Bhuraram Matoria expressed their gratitude for the assistance. The committee also appreciated the assurance that further fodder support could be requested when needed.
