People’s opinions don’t define you. God gets the final word. As we begin our new series through Ephesians, we discover what God says about our identity in Christ: You are chosen. You are loved. You are adopted. You are redeemed. You are forgiven. You have an inheritance. You are sealed by the Holy Spirit. You belong to Jesus. Before Paul teaches us how to walk, serve, build relationships, or stand against the enemy, he establishes who we are. Because when we understand our identity, it changes how we live. Maybe it’s time to stop allowing an old version of you to have a microphone in your new life. You are who HE says you are.
