What is it really like to stay in a guest lodge in South Africa? In this video, I spend the night in my own guest lodge in Hoedspruit to experience it the same way a guest would. From the room and comfort to the overall atmosphere, I wanted to see what staying here actually feels like from a visitor’s perspective. Also, we head out on a game drive with our staff in the Hoedspruit area, close to Kruger National Park, where we explore the bush and look for wildlife. Safari drives are one of the main reasons people visit this part of South Africa, and it’s always a unique experience.
