Buddha Be a Great Campsite! - Meandering Across Asia - Episode 8

Some superb cycling in the Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan provinces in China. Winter arrived so we decided to bolt for lower ground, but not before a few more cols. This episode is also remarkable for the award of the first 10/10 enjoyment rating on this tour! We wrestle with the moral dilemma of taking the easy way out: the ubiquitous cheap hotel - but also enjoy some terrific camping spots, not least by a giant golden Buddha.
