Holy Spirit, Lead Me Today | A Powerful Morning Prayer for Guidance

Some days begin with decisions we do not yet know how to make, conversations we cannot predict, and situations we cannot see coming. This morning, we are asking the Holy Spirit to lead us. May He guide our decisions, redirect us when we are heading the wrong way, guard our words, give us discernment concerning the people around us, and help us recognize when God is telling us to move, wait, speak, or remain still. If your heart has been saying, “Lord, I don't want to lead myself today,” make this prayer personal. Pray it slowly. Bring your plans, worries, decisions, relationships, and expectations before God. And stay until the Holy Declaration at the end as we declare in faith that fear, pressure, anger, and desperation will not control our steps today.
