The infinite horizons of Al Azhar Park

Perched on a hill, a lush haven of peace extends over 30 hectares. Its cool greenery offers a stark contrast from the dust and din of the overcrowded city. When Al-Azhar Park was created in 2005, it was a revolution for the inhabitants of Cairo. Before, it was home to a mountain of trash. Since the 15th century, Cairo's inhabitants had been dumping their garbage on this hill. And yet, from the filth and refuse, a miracle was born! Listen to the story of this incredible garden.
