Why Transformation Leaders Become Isolated — And Why It Matters

The more senior you become, the fewer people you can sometimes have a completely honest conversation with. That’s one of the least discussed challenges of transformation leadership. You can be surrounded by programme teams, sponsors, consultants, governance forums and huge amounts of data — and still find yourself remarkably isolated when an important decision needs to be made. In this video, I explore why that happens and why judgement becomes increasingly important when you’re leading complex organisational transformation.
