📌 NOTE:
This is NOT a general Git tutorial or conceptual guide. Please refer to official documentation or Git courses for full concepts. This video covers the STRICT BARE MINIMUM workflow for using Git inside Apache NetBeans.
💡 Key Ideas:
• Branching: Whenever you make changes (adding features, removing code, or experimenting), ALWAYS create a new separate branch to keep your main code safe.
• Merging: Test your code thoroughly before merging into the main branch to avoid difficult debugging later.
• Remote Name: We use "origin" by default to refer to the repository hosted on GitHub.
• Password / Credentials: DO NOT use your actual GitHub account password when prompt by NetBeans. You MUST use a GitHub Personal Access Token (PAT) as your password.
