The annual Muni Heritage Weekend is back! This event is happening from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sept. 19-20, celebrates the transit system that has connected San Francisco since 1912. Vintage buses and streetcar free rides depart throughout the day from Embarcadero Plaza and the San Francisco Railway Museum area. One of this year’s highlight is car #162, featured in this video, is a brand new addition to the annual event. This car was recently passenger service certified, and it will be the car’s first-ever appearance to the public after long-term restoration.
