Women's dharna suspended for a week following administration’s assurance to work on 9-Point demands

Women organisation from different religious faiths who had been sitting on Protest Dharna against UT Ladakh liquor policy suspended their Dharna for a week following assurance from UT Administration to work on 9 points demands made by the women organisation. The women had been sitting on Dharna from 22 October till today. A team of officers from administration including police and civil officers visited Dharna site to assure them to work on their demands. Meanwhile, many people came forwards to support them by joing them on Dharna or serving fruits and juices to these women.
