DPWH-SAMAR FIRST DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE - CONSTRUCTION OF STA. MARGARITA DIVERSION ROAD

The Construction of the Sta. Margarita Diversion Road will connect Barangay Burabod, Sta. Margarita along the national highway and will end at the diversion road. This will provide a safe and faster route for people, goods and services as it connects different barangays. This will also serve as an alternate route for traffic flow without interference from local traffic and reduce ingestion in the built-up area which is expected if one goes thru the municipality. The construction of gravel and sand road and road slope protection was finished in 2022. Presently, the ongoing works on the road include a 0.969 km. concreting. This is targeted to be completed, thus will be passable by the end of 2023.
