NRI Life: What Are We Really Giving Up?

We came to America looking for a better life — better careers, better opportunities, financial freedom, and a future for our families. But after spending years away from India, I started wondering about something else: What are we giving up along the way? Missing festivals. Being away from parents as they get older. Kids growing up far from grandparents and extended family. Friends back home moving on with their own lives. And eventually, the question of where we actually belong. Maybe the NRI life isn't about choosing between America and India. Maybe it's about understanding the trade-offs that come with each choice. In this video, I share my thoughts on NRI life, family, money, career, loneliness, and the idea that everything we build might be more temporary than we realize.
