CJP Leader Abhijeet Deepak Arrives In Mumbai | October 2 Protest Over CEC Gyanesh Kumar | News9

CJP leader Abhijeet Deepak has arrived in Mumbai ahead of the organisation’s planned October 2 protest at Shivaji Park over its demand for the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Speaking at Mumbai airport, Deepak appealed to people to participate in what he described as a peaceful protest and said the campaign was about protecting democracy and raising concerns over voter lists and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). He also said technological systems used in elections could be vulnerable and argued that the focus should not be limited to EVMs but should also include electoral rolls. Asked about the Election Commission, Deepak made a strong personal allegation against Gyanesh Kumar. These are Deepak and CJP’s claims and political demands; the Election Commission has defended its SIR process and said decisions were taken unanimously. Mumbai Police have reportedly denied permission for the proposed Shivaji Park gathering, citing applicable court and government guidelines. #abhijeetdeepak #cjp #cockroachjantaparty #gyaneshkumar #cec #electioncommission #eci #sir #voterlist #shivajipark #mumbai #mumbaiprotest #jailbharo #october2 #electionnews #indianpolitics..............................................................................................
