MOUNT TARANAKI | Known as New Zealand’s toughest day hike, the Mount Taranaki summit climb draws in avid hikers from all over. Located in the west coast of New Zealand’s North island, Mount Taranaki is a dormant stratovolcano and the second highest mountain in the North Island at 2,518.
