Railfanning PNWR & Amtrak | 7/23/2026

At around 10:30AM I went out to Oregon City, OR for the new Airo trainset on the Amtrak Cascades, and I saw a PNWR 664 (LO664J on UP trackage) first. After the Airo I headed further into ORC for the 503, a southbound Amtrak Cascades at 11:15AM. At 1PM I met up with ‪@Greenfluent1‬ at Beaverton, OR for the PNWR rock train return. I thought that was the last train I’d see, but then the PNWR686 (Albina Transfer) parked in the Fuller yard at Tigard before taking 2 boxcars to Weyerhaeuser Paper in Beaverton.
