Duneland's Swedish Immigrants: Beyond Baillytown (Episode 2)

Although Baillytown was the most well known of the Duneland Swedish communities, it was by no means the only one. Swedish immigrants flocked to Jackson, Pine, and Liberty Townships in addition to settling in less rural areas, like downtown Chesterton. In this video, the Westchester Township History Museum gives an overview of several Swedish settlements in the Duneland area.
