"Hope exists, fortunately..." - Noé Gillerot (with score)

This composition was written as part of the SymfonieOrkest Vlaanderen's Composer Academy 2022 and is so dedicated to the musicians of the orchestra and their conductor Kristiina Poska. This music aims to speak about war, especially the one happening right now in Ukraine: a try to put in music the sadness and the stupidity of war that put every single human in the misery: the total abandonment of humanity. Two well-know musical themes are used in this work: the Ukrainian national anthem and the Ode to joy of Beethoven (wich is the Europe Anthem), together they try desperately to bring in this painful warrior atmosphere, some hope, fortunately ...
