Building collapse at Holy City Entebbe leaves several injured

A building under construction at Brother Ronnie Makabai’s Holy City Entebbe Church in Kawuku, Katabi Town Council, along the Entebbe-Wakiso Road, collapsed today, October 26, 2026. Several injuries have been reported as joint emergency teams from the Uganda Police Force and the Uganda People’s Defence Forces conduct search and rescue operations at the scene. Over 10 people have so far been pulled from the debris and rushed to Entebbe Regional Referral Hospital and Kisubi Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
