When Cyclone Arnab caused severe damage across Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana government stepped forward to support its neighbouring state during a difficult time. Telangana Deputy Chief Minister and Electricity Minister Bhatti Vikramarka spoke with Andhra Pradesh Electricity Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar and offered complete assistance to restore the damaged power infrastructure as quickly as possible. Gottipati Ravi Kumar explained that under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, officials and electricity department staff were working around the clock. Nearly 6,000 electricity personnel had already been deployed, while senior officials were personally monitoring the restoration of power lines, electricity poles and transformers. Responding to the situation, Bhatti Vikramarka assured that Telangana was ready to send additional technical staff, linemen, electricity poles, transformers and power cables whenever required. This gesture reflects the importance of humanity, cooperation and brotherhood between neighbouring states. However, this incident also brings back memories of the contrasting approaches of former Telangana Chief Minister KCR and the present Chief Minister Revanth Reddy towards Andhra Pradesh. While Telangana has its own interests and water-sharing disputes to protect, extending help during a natural disaster shows political maturity and concern for people beyond state boundaries. The political history of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has witnessed several disagreements over assets, water resources, development projects and political relations. The video discusses KCR's past approach towards Andhra Pradesh, his statements about Telugu people, the unresolved issues related to the state's bifurcation and the contrasting positions of Revanth Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu. The larger message is simple: political differences should never come in the way of humanity. States may be divided, governments may belong to different political alliances, but people share common roots and relationships. When one state faces a crisis, helping each other should be the priority.
