Ring from Nature | Northern Black Wattle | Just Wood Turning

A hand turned timber ring made from Queensland Northern Black Wattle, which I got from my family's property in the Atherton Tablelands. A lovely easy to turn hardwood, with deep dark browns and beautiful light browns that shine golden in the light. This tree was planted by my grandfather over 25 years ago, and finally fell last year after a wet season, so now it has a second life rings, pens, bowls and more.
