Then we get alone with God, And let our tears say what they may; He’s heard it all, and loves us still He is our holy hiding place. [Chorus] We have a hiding place, A shelter in His loving grace; When there’s nowhere else to turn, We’re welcome in that holy place. The storm may still be blowing, But we’re held in His loving embrace; With songs of deliverance all around, We know we can always be found In our holy hiding place. [Verse 2] He never said we wouldn’t feel pain Or shed a bitter tear; But He gave His Word to hold us up, And promised to stay near. Our lives are hid with Christ in God; We’re His through every trial. And when we've done all that we can do to stand [Chorus] We have a hiding place, A shelter in His loving grace; When there’s nowhere else to turn, We’re welcome in that holy place. The storm may still be blowing, But we’re held in His loving embrace; With songs of deliverance all around, We know we can always be found In our holy hiding place. [Bridge] We’ve prayed some prayers through trembling lips, With nothing left to say; We’ve opened up His precious Word And found enough for that day. He’s been our shield, He’s been our Rock, And that will never change; The One who brought us through before Is our holy hiding place. [Final Chorus] We have a hiding place, A shelter in His loving grace; When there’s nowhere else to turn, We’re welcome in that holy place. The storm may still be blowing, But we’re held in His loving embrace; With songs of deliverance all around, We know we can always be found In our holy hiding place. [Tag] Our lives are hid with Christ in God, And that will never change. Whatever comes, we’re still His own We know we can always be found In our holy hiding place.
