I Found High-End Vintage Decor in a Small Town That Refuses to Update

What if your home doesn’t actually need to be updated? A comment on the Bavarian Inn Lodge Facebook page asked, “When are you going to update this place?” Their response was basically, “We’re not. This is the look we’re going for.” And I LOVED that answer. 👏 Because somewhere along the way, we started treating “dated” like it automatically means bad. But there’s a big difference between a space that simply feels outdated and one with a strong identity, personality and point of view. In this video, I’m taking you inside one of my favorite places in Frankenmuth, Michigan, to show you why I think some “dated” decor can actually work better than modern design.
