Wake of '38 - WSBE Providence (1978) - TV Special

The Emmy winning "Wake of '38" is an hour long look at one of the worst storms to ever ravage the southern New England coastline: the 1938 hurricane which impacted the Ocean State on September 21st, 1938. Archival footage and interviews are included along with some then-contemporary forecasting talk (we've come a long way since then!) from its original 1978 broadcast. Still well worth a look.
