This time brings tracks who's producers have been inspired by magical sites around the world from England and as far as New Zealand. Disc 1 starts with the downtempo “Hill of Shining Beings”, the hill in question is Silbury Hill in England where ManMadeMan inspired themselves for this track. Next comes Insectoid's “Tribedelic Nomads”, where Aboriginal drumming and insects can be heard. Anubis' “Rites Of Ra” is my favorite. Simon Posford and Chris Deckker (Anubis) sacred site here are the pyramids of Gaza in Egypt. While disc 1 is a full on psychedelic trip fusing sonic sounds and ritual/ethnic sounds and chants, disc 2 varies from downtempo trance to pure ambient. Sound quality is top notch and once again we a beautiful package with a very detailed 74 page booklet as was typical by label.
