For our final 24 hours in India, we finally visited the city you kept telling us to see: Mumbai. After Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Leh, we wanted to know whether Mumbai would feel different from the places we’d already visited. We explored the Gateway of India, stopped for a drink at the Taj Mahal Palace, walked along Marine Drive and followed a local recommendation for dinner. The conversations we had along the way became our favourite part of the day. At Marine Drive, we also found ourselves looking back on the whole trip and how much we’d come to love India.
