Revisiting Songzhuang Artist Village (Beijing) with Artist Li Wei

Welcome to my channel! Today we revisited Songzhuang artist village in Beijing. 10 years ago I had visited Li Wei’s artist studio in this Songzhuang area. This time I revisited the old places with Li Wei, but everything has changed! I could barely recognise them. It’s a miniature city with companies and highways... Artists including Lu Wei have left Songzhuang for cheaper and bigger spaces around. Are the artist villages good for creativity and business?
