Amarilli Mia Bella by Giulio Caccini - 2018 AAA Festival

Friends, Nathan Chapeton from Connecticut and Cody McSherry from Pennsylvania are accordion students of accordionist and AAA President, Mary Tokarski. Besides playing other musical instruments, Cody is currently also taking voice lessons. Nathan asked Cody on a whim, whether he would like to perform the 16th century piece "Amarilli Mia Bella" by Giulio Caccini at the After Hours Club. They rehearsed it once, and here is the beautiful outcome. The performance took place in the late hours of July 11, 2018 at the 80th Anniversary American Accordionists’ Association Festival in Alexandria, Virginia.
