Dalam episod 2 solo travel 3H2M ke Hatyai & Phatthalung ni, aku keluar sekejap dari Hatyai untuk buat day trip ke Phatthalung, Thailand — bermula dengan boat ride di Thale Noi untuk tengok bunga teratai dan burung-burung di kawasan wetland yang tenang, sebelum brunch nasi kerabu yang sedap di Lad Tainod Green Market. Lepas tu perjalanan diteruskan ke Kwanjai Bamboo Market, 7-Eleven viral dengan background Khao Ok Talu dan tea time di Kanam Coffee sebelum balik semula ke Hatyai. Malam terakhir pula aku cuba miang pla pau di Kak Sah Somtam Miang Pla Pau dan akhiri malam dengan urut badan di Michael Massage. Esok paginya, breakfast di Dimsum Chabura sebelum naik van ke Padang Besar dan sambung perjalanan pulang ke KL dengan ETS. Kalau korang nak pengalaman bercuti ke Hatyai yang sedikit berbeza, day trip ke Phatthalung memang worth considering — terutama kalau suka nature, makanan local, pasar, cafe dan suasana Thailand yang lebih santai. In Episode 2 of my 3D2N solo trip to Hat Yai & Phatthalung, I decided to escape Hat Yai for a day trip to Phatthalung, Thailand — starting with a peaceful boat ride at Thale Noi to see the lotus flowers and birds around its beautiful wetland, followed by a delicious nasi kerabu brunch at Lad Tainod Green Market. From there, I stopped by Kwanjai Bamboo Market, the viral 7-Eleven with Khao Ok Talu in the background, and Kanam Coffee for tea time before heading back to Hat Yai. On my last night, I had a tasty miang pla pau dinner at Kak Sah Somtam Miang Pla Pau and ended the evening with a relaxing body massage at Michael Massage. The next morning, I had breakfast at Dimsum Chabura before taking a van to Padang Besar and catching the ETS train back to Kuala Lumpur. If you're looking for a different way to experience Hat Yai, a day trip to Phatthalung is definitely worth considering, especially if you enjoy nature, local food, markets, cafes and a slower side of Southern Thailand.
