Virginia Scenic Railway through the Blue Ridge Mountains Staunton to Ivy and back

VIRGINIA SCENIC RAILWAY Welcome to our adventure on the Virginia’s Scenic Railway. This is NOT an AMTRAK train ride, rather a nice laid back ride through the Shenandoah mountains. They offer several different rides, leaving from different locations. Anything from a ride through the mountains, a wine tasting and ride to through the valley, or a murder mystery dinner. Check out their web site for details for an adventure that suits your fancy. Rates vary from around $65/PP to $136/PP, depending on the route, seats, and/or theme. You may need to book early. I tried to get seats last fall, but they apparently sold out months in advance.
